Is there any way to interface with ipad pro 2017?

I believe its tied to your iPhone so you'll not be able to use google fi

so it is "electronic sim" only? I searched but have not been able to determine. I use the IPAD PRO 2017 10.5 with a google fi data card and it works perfectly and hoped the watch would do the same. suks that it is tied only to iphone

It's an electronic sim. There's not a sim card slot.

Thanks for the replies; not for me then; may consider the non lte but know that any later resale will be better for lte.
I love the cellular connectivity on my ipad pro. With google hangouts it ties to my google fi phone and I can make and receive calls easily.
