The watch will only recharge to 95% until I hold the 2 side buttons to reboot. Then, it will change to 100% until for some random reason it gets stuck again. Anyone else have this issue? Should I take it in for a checkup?

I’ve had three generations of Apple Watch and never had that issue you’re describing. Have you tried unpairing and re-pairing and setting it up as a new watch instead of restoring from a backup?

Not normal. You should not have to hard reset the Apple Watch for to charge to 100%. It's either software related issue or battery. I would make a Genius appointment to have it inspected.

Try running the :apple:Watch until it goes dead. Then do a full charge and see if it goes to 100%. This re-calibrates the charger/monitor.
