WatchOS 7.2

During the last week my Watch 6 has shut down while in Nightstand Mode and has to be rebooted to restart.

Any ideas what causes this? It's happened on two different chargers, so I know it's not that.

Did you try a different cable? It should only shutdown when running out of battery ...

Sorry. I should have made that clear. When I said "different charger" I should have said "different charger and cable".
so is the watch actually charging?
what's the battery percentage when you put it on charger? what percentage after you reboot?

how long have you had the watch? might be the best idea to contact apple ...

The watch is actually charging. I put it on the charger when I hit the sack when it is usually around 40-50%. It's always 100% in the morning. (It actually reaches 100% in an hour or so.) When I reboot it is always at 100%. The watch is about two months old. I bought it as soon as they became available here in Thailand.

do you have any apps installed? a stretch, but maybe there's something there ...
You could also try to un=pair/re-pair, but that has some downsides in itself, I would contact apple

I'll contact Apple. I also have some issues with workouts where the Active Calories computed are radically different in workouts that are very similar.

1 other suggestion, if you have not done o yet, close all apps on both phone and watch and restart both

Trouble it, it's an intermittent problem, so it's very hard to know if any particular solution has worked. I will try closing all the apps and restarting.

Thanks for your suggestions.
