I have a Watch7 set to automatically update. Every morning when I remove it from the charger, and put it on my wrist (after some minutes) there is an alert about an update. This happens the last 2 years.

I would expect - with setting to auto-install OS updates - that any update is installed automatically; and not be bugged every day for an update. And if I accept it, soon after there is another dot-something update.

alert - alert, there is an update!

I am talking about WatchOS updates, not applications. The setting on my iPhone WatchApp->General->Software Update has "Automatic Updates" set to ON. I have tried toggle off, and then on - but that does not install any update overnight, without me accepting the alert manually. It says "automatic" update; yet it's manually activated?

It is a great gadget, but daily alerts do spoil the experience.

Some (maybe all?) of the watchOS updates require you to enter your passcode to approve the update. It's already loaded and in queue otherwise.
The iPhone does the same thing.

If you're getting daily update notifications on your watch, especially for two years running, you're doing something wrong.
