Anyone else look into what a recently purchased 7 titanium purchased 2/2/2022 with 100% is worth? I normally keep my watches for 4-5 years unless they break…so this is a new thing for me.

Apple thinks it’s worth $155, Apple Care for 2 more years???

Is this to be expected?

You’ll get more than that in a private sale but the devaluation is still going to be significant.

Watches are one thing I’d never trade in at apple. They seem to have lumped all of the variations within a series together as one. $155 trade in for my Series 7 45mm Titanium is comical. They’re going for $500 on Swappa.

yep, I'm in the exact same boat with a slightly "older" S7 Ti. I got the Ultra and will keep the S7 for sleep tracking and backup. And I still have a S4 SBSS that I got as refurb through AC+ July 2021 ...
trade-in value for AW sucks, always has...

Yea agreed, kind of makes me reconsider the entire platform to be honest…

None of the other smart watches have great resale either. The more expensive the original purchase the worse it is just like a German car…

Yea makes sense, probably why I have and will never own a German car. Pulled out my 20yr old Cartier Tank today, maybe its time to go back to the classic…

@mwinner I get it, I'm in the same situation. Looking at how much I beat up the series 7 titanium, I'm not sure I'd get the 250 they're offering on buybackworld.com. I just discovered a small scratch on the sapphire...which is the first time I've had this happen on 3 sapphire display apple watches. Considering that I have Applecare+ on it until 2025, I'll likely continue to use it and enjoy it when I want to change it up from the ultra.

Also, it was the first time I chose natural ti vs space black ti. The space black DLC held up so much better.

I sold my S7 Ti for $450. The Ti really isn’t worth any more than the stainless used. People just aren’t willing to pay more, and most don’t even want the SS or Ti at all.

I bought the ultra and sold my s6 TI without weighing my options - I am now looking for a s7 natural TI because the ultra is too casual for my everyday look

This is what I have been thinking. Use ultra during the day. For bedtime sleep tracking, i'll use my SBTi AW 7.
