In my watch app my new graphite stainless steel Apple Watch is showing up as Apple Watch Aluminum. anyone know how to fix this?

in this photo both watches should be Stainless Steel. The older one on bottom is AW5 SBSS and the newer one on top is AW6 GrSS

This is a hardware issue, you can send it to Apple and they'll replace it with an aluminium watch for free.

...just kidding! This seems to be a bug in iOS, it shouldn't affect the daily usage of the watch. Unpairing and re-pairing the watch can sometimes fix it.

This issue has been fixed in iOS 14.1.
