First, no problems here activating the eSIM in my 13 Pro Max on VZW. But I did have a weird glitch with my S6 Watch and I wonder if anyone else has seen the same thing.

Activated phone on eSIM, no problems. Pair Watch - it seems happy - no BT or WiFi problems. But the cell service icon isn't showing. The error message says "no SIM." I had taken the SIM out of the old phone, so I put it in the 13PM. Problem solved instantly.

The Watch should communicate with the eSIM, yes? Did anyone with a cell plan for their Watch run into a failure to get cell service on the watch with the eSIM that was solved by installing the old physical SIM?

I need to take a careful look at the Cellular section of Settings tomorrow. I suspect that the problem is not the physical SIM, or the lack of a physical SIM, but a menu pick in the cellular settings. If I find something out I’ll circle back here.
