Watch dialing tones heard through phone speakerphone?

Since I got my watch yesterday I've made a few calls just to try it out. Each time I'd say "Hey Siri, call ___" and then I would hear the ringing sound over my iPhone's speakerphone, until this morning. I did the same thing, but the dialing tones were heard over the watch. Is one correct and one a bug? What does everyone else hear?
