On the last WatchOS/iOS update my series 2 watch disconnects from my phone all the time and then drains the battery because GPS on the watch is being used. I didn’t have this issue before and had always above 50% when the day was over, now it doesn’t last through the day.

Anyone else has this issue?

If You have not already, then I would try the following:

1.) Re-pair the Apple Watch with the iPhone.

And:

2.) Due to the battery draining, perhaps there is a glitch, then you can try a hard reset by holding down the digital crown and power button until you see the Apple logo.

I noticed this as well on my Series 3 after the latest update. I've done a hard reboot 2 times and so far it's staying connected.

I thought this was fixed in the last update, it was working for one day, but now it is disconnecting all the time. I don't think repairing the watch would do anything as the issue is also present on my S0 watch.

The connection issues extend to my PowerBeats 3 witch disconnected almost instantly when I paused the music.

So I think it is a Bluetooth issue, hoping it will be fixed in next update.
