The face on my apple watch is upside down. I didn't use it for about six months and in that period I got a new iPhone. I reset the watch and paired it to the new iPhone but the display is upside down. The setting in both the watch app on the phone and on the watch is set to left wrist, I'm wearing it on my left wrist but the display is upside down. I've rebooted my phone and done a hard reset on the watch but its still upside down.

Any solutions or suggestions?

What’s the crown setting? Left or right?

On my left hand, crown towards my hand. I was thinking that's how they all are, but I guess with the apple watch it doesn't have to be.
Set it to “Digital Crown on right side” in the watch app, that should take care of it

Well then you want the crown setting to be right, not left. Watch app, General, Orientation, Watch on left wrist, Digital Crown on Right Side.
