In what year was the last time Apple designed some new watch faces? It' been way overdue for more. I know there are some apps, and one in general, which I won't mention, and I had this app., it would allow you to really customized your Apple watch, but the downside for all these customized apps. is that there icons on the watch face are non functional, yes, some are, but more that are not than those that are, and you have to turn them on constantly.

2024. Reflections, Flux were new in watchOS 11, plus I think there is another Hermes watch faces, I know in particular for the Hermes model Ultra 2. Photos in watchOS 11 is essentially new as well - it's an improvement over the old Photos and Portraits watch faces.

Wow, it shows how much I pay attention. I didn't realize that these were added in 2024. I have the Ultra 2, so I am going to check it out now. Thank you.

When was Snoopy added? This year or the last?

In any case, I can't remember a watchOS update that DIDN'T add at least one new watch face.

The Snoopy watch face was added with WatchOS 10, released in the fall of 2023.

As doogm mentioned WatchOS 11 added Reflections and Flux, and they also updated the Photo watch face. Of course it's a double edged sword, as with that release they also removed Chronograph, Explorer, Numerals, and Siri, so they didn't really increase the number of choices.

To be fair, that was the first time that a few old watch faces were removed. Before that, the number of watch faces slowly, but steadily increased every year.

Well.... once before a watch face introduced before Series 4 was consolidated with another face at some point (watchOS 9 maybe?) The old Modular face was removed and Infograph Modular was renamed Modular at that time. The new Modular was different enough that some people were disappointed (mainly the new Modular used the new richer complication style introduced with Series 4 but did not support the old-style pre-Series 4 complications).
