Watch heart monitor on people of color

Read some articles about the watch heart rate monitor not always working on people with dark skin.

Are people experiencing this issue?

Hoping to buy one when the new ones come in this Fall.

Never heard of this, I know there were issues with people who had tattoos on the wrist where the sensor is.

Nope haven’t had any issues with the heart rate monitor and I’ve had an Apple Watch since the S2 launched, and currently have an S4.
