I am still getting a new series 2 cause I really need the waterproof and the app use for swimming but I do own a series 0 42mm midnight blue leather ss ordered the day of release. I'll admit the 3.0 update really does make it a much nicer watch . I'm not saying it's speedy fast or anything but it seems from my observations all the updates that the watch can do, do them just fine. The new customization of the watch faces are really nice and work great. So does the new docks.
If really didn't need the true water proofing I would prolly stay with this as it wasn't cheap. The series 0 is really a much nicer watch under 3.0 and any looking to buy a used or one that's on sale, it's not bad. It's not the fastest by any means but it sure doesn't do to bad at all if can live with a bit slow speed.
