why would you do this to an iPhone? Honestly?

It pains me to look at this.
 
This is simply the finest piece of performance art that I have ever seen. It really made me think about:-

  • the hideous nature of our consumer society
  • the urge that people have for celebrity status
  • the plight of those people who not only cannot afford to eat, but who are also denied access to the iPhone

I salute you sir and very much look forward to your next project!

Now, I must mention the screen was non responsive 90% of the time and thought I'd make something out of the phone.

He says "asks me to do whatever" and I'm tempted to see if he can do an unaided Nike-style jump over a Dodge Sprinter going 60 mph.
 
Oh, the show is much longer, maybe 1 hour to 2 hours long.

I also burnt the phone, spilled Iced Tea on it, used a hammer, some lotion to top it off with, some more burns, pliers and a screw driver.

Just because you can do it doesn't mean you should do it.


I agree with calculus, all this does is remind me of the hideous consumer throw-away society that we live in.
