Hi.
This is no doubt a well versed subject, so sorry in advance.

I have an iTunes server (OK, and old PC running WinXP with iTunes connected to a Synology USB Station 2 NAS) which is dedicated to movies and TV shows only on my home network. [old PC until I can get funds for a MacMini]

I don't have an iOS device YET, but intend to do so in the new year.

Now, I do a bit of traveling, and I'd be interested to know if I can watch my movies on an iOS device while I'm sat in a hotel in some place in the middle of nowhere. Is this just Home Share? Or do I need Plex (or something else)?

Do I also need fixed IP from my ISP? Or what other fancy pant DDNS configs would I need?

Thanks in advance.
