I have a membership to MLB.TV that i can watch on my laptop. I would like to occasionally watch it on TV. I bought an HDMI cable as well as a "Mini Displayport Male and USB Male Audio to HDMI Female Converting Adapter". I've connected everything and changed the TV to the correct input. It seems as if it is receiving a signal because the purple screen with stars appears (for lack of a better description), but I can't seem to get the picture from my laptop to appear. Is there some sort of output or setting i need to change to be able to view the video?
