"Watch me do" in Automator w/ Hidden Dock

It seems that when using "Watch me do" in automator, if part of the "watch me do" is clicking a dock icon and your dock is hidden, when you run the workflow the mouse will go to the bottom of the screen and nothing will happen. Unhiding the dock fixes this but I like my dock hiddden. :D
