I've been using my Apple Watch to open my iMac for quite awhile now but recently, it has not been working lately. Any ideas on what might be happening? I've tried a number of things like rebooting everything, making sure my software on all my devices are up to date, etc. Nothing seems to bring back that functionality. I don't typically shut my iMac off. I just let it sleep and then when I move/click the mouse, it would say - opening using Apple Watch. My watch would vibrate and I'd be in. That's no longer happening. Ugh.

On the Mac, turn the feature off, reboot and then turn it back on

^This. And..

A long time occasional problem/bug. Search for "auto unlock keychain" to get a bunch of threads here for that. Some steps to try to reset things:

Add: and if over a certain amount of time, can see that Watch unlock will not work as Keychain has a timeout value. Go past it, Keychain gets locked so need to unlock the Keychain before Watch unlock will work (aka similar to how after a restart can't use Watch to sign-in). Keychain Access > Login > Context-Menu > Change Settings...

Thanks. Something must have happened when I rebooted my phone. I went into my car and Apple Play wouldn't connect. Once that got straightened out, my watch/password worked.
