Can anyone tell me if the weather app and complications are any different?

My carrot sub is about to renew and the new weather iPhone app looks to be a serviceable replacement but wondering about the Apple Watch too.

Sounds like the Dark Sky API, (which Carrot still uses) is available until the end of 2022. I’m going to renew one more year of Carrot and hopefully apple’s app catches up by then
