It is Saturday, which means go to the Apple store day as Friday is VERY FAR IN THE FUTURE.

A demo watch in Chadstone today (Melbourne Australia) had the watch OS version: 1.0 (12S507)

Be very curious if they are updating this frequently before the launch. The watch had a bit of trouble recognising taps on complications while customising. Not quite ready to ship I think.

Anyway, for some reason I found this of vital importance, and I must share it. Something to do while we wait. :p

I took a picture of it last week.

This is one of the last questions I have about the Watch: how is the OS updated?

I sure it's done though the companion app, but is it bundled with iOS updates, or are they separate updates that get pushed to the companion app?

The companion app connects to the Apple servers to check for updates. Will download it if there is one so not bundled in iOS.

Looks like it is separate.
