Watch out for counterfeit Apple Leather Cases

Bought a 'genuine' Apple leather case on ebay, was suspicious of it being a fake due to the price but as the seller had high feedback I went for it.

It arrived today, it's pretty convincing, but has a chemical smell and the apple logo imprint isn't as defined as the real cases - also it doesn't have a microfiber interior.

Also the return address for the case is a Chinese address.

Anyway, watch out for fake cases since they're circulating around now.

Its always been buyer beware on ebay. If you want to make sure you don't get a counterfeit then don't buy on ebay, but go to apple.

True that. I've always used ebay and never had a problem I just stupidly didn't check out the seller properly. It's not a problem though I'll easily get my money back. I just thought I'd make everyone aware.

Do you mean off ebay or in general?

I love my genuine apple leather case.
