Since the last software update it seems like my watch will not let me swipe up or down from the clock screen... I use this feature a lot to find my iPhone and do other things. I have had to reset my watch 4 times now and swiping will work after the reset but eventually stops working again. I have a Apple Watch 4 and iPhone 11 pro.

Totally frustrating because I thought I had left my phone in a restaurant (which I had) and was eagerly trying to get to my "locate" button on my watch to see if I could ping my phone in my car.. Usually it just falls behind or under the seat.

Any ideas what's going on here? It's super frustrating.

No idea but does happen to me also. Frustrating since I can't even check why I have a red notification indicator because the screen will not slide down.

So no one has any ideas what's going on here? I hate having to fully reset my watch over and over!

Are you on a beta release?
Are you on a series 5? Is the watch face coming out of AOD mode before you try to swipe down/up? You can't swipe on the screen when it's in AOD mode... it's got to go live, first, before you can swipe.

I have this too on series 4 and have to restart to get it to sort itself. Interestingly I do have zoom enabled so would be interested to know if anyone finds a link to that? I don't really use the zoom but it is occasionally useful
