Watch SE availability

I want to trade in my 42mm Series 3 LTE for a new SE. Reason: I want the bigger screen and upgraded hardware and I don’t really have much need for the blood oxygen or EKG capability of the 6 or 7. Apple will also give me $70 for my S3.

I like the SE 44mm LTE space gray with one of the dark green bands (Sport or Braided Solo Loop). The dark green shades in particular are all “Unavailable”, both in store and online. I can’t even add to my cart. Does this mean out of stock or does it mean they’re being discontinued?

Except for the straight black bands, every other Braided or Sport band color isn’t available for another 1-2 weeks. Is Apple pushing these band colors aside to prioritize the pending Series 7 launch? Are there COVID supply chain issues?

I think the bands are just not available. When apple introduces new bands they sell out pretty quickly. I had to wait 2 months for braided solo loop last year when I did not order the day they went on sale.

Ended up ordering a 44mm SE Nike LTE in Space Gray with the Olive/Khaki perforated band. Gotta wait 10 days until it gets here…!
