Watch (series 4) keeps asking for Apple ID (for stores, not iCloud (I have two ID's)) password

Ever since I upgraded to WatchOS 6, I keep getting prompted to logon to the account I use for Stores, not the one for iCloud. I've not been trying to logon (not sure how on watch?), as I wanted to be sure it's a legitimate prompt.

Anyone else seeing this, and know why it would have started happening? Both WatchOS and iOS updates worked fine with no errors.

You want to use the same Apple ID on your iPhone and also enter the same Apple ID in the Watch app on your iPhone. This will keep your iPhone and watch in sync. Again, use the Watch app on your iphone & don't try to enter it on your watch.
