I just got my Apple Watch 7 45mm through the mail today. I must say. Coming from an se. This watch is really nice. Even though it took att 3 hours to help me upgrade it and get the cellular function running correctly. They suspended the Watch line before I even got the watch delivered for some reason. Oh well.

Those that have this watch. How’s the battery life on it?

Now you need to start collecting bands. May I suggest Fog as a starter? a nice gray, and usually pretty cheap.

I’ll def take a look at it. How does it feel on your wrist? I have really bad ocd and can only wear certain bands. Otherwise they drove me completely mad. The apple band that comes with the Apple Watch seems to be the only band that doesn’t drive me completely insane. It doesn’t tug at my hair and doesn’t cause me to remove my watch an hour after I put it on lol

Which band do you use? what type?

Congrats on the new watch. In my limited (8 months) experience the battery is a hassle, but I enjoy the features so I won’t return to Fitbit (Charge 3) and I’m getting used to charging it 1-2 times daily.
Happy with my Midnight, Starlight, and Clover bands so far.

I‘m more curious about your view on the battery? Coming from SE which I never had, how much better do you find the battery, and other features?

I find this battery (s7) actually quite good. I put it on at 3am when I get up for work, use it all day at work texting and music. By time I get home at2:30 pm it is still around 75%. I just upgraded to watchOS9 and the battery is even better.

I have just the band that came with the Apple Watch. I think it’s their sports band. Not sure. I am not really too hip into the band types and names.
Yeah this is the sport band:

the battery is a huge upgrade (came from the series 3). It has lasted me up to 3 days before going red.

Battery life is pretty solid for me. I wear it to bed and top it off before I start my day. Usually end it with about 30-40%
Good to know, thanks for the note. It’s definitely helpful to me also, but still a minor hassle, to train myself to charge it a bit in the morning, as well as evening. (I wear it overnight for sleep tracking and alarms.)

Amazing to read OP’s post above, 75% after using it all day, awesome!

I’m glad to read some positive posts about battery life. It could certainly be better, still…

Welcome to the club, and congrats! Battery life is amazing to me, it seems. I got mine just Saturday, but have since been really pleased. I let the battery run down to 18% once before I recharged it.

It's a good idea to leave it to charge overnight, then you won't have to worry about it during the day.
