Watch shuts down error

I went for a jog today with my fully charged watch. After 30 minutes or so I asked Siri to play apple radio. The watch shut down and restarted showing that there was no charge left. When I placed it on charger again the watch turned on and showed about 80% charged. Has this happened to anyone else? Ruined my workout and wandering if I should reset watch b4 my next jog.

Was it covered on your wrist or exposed. Both GPS and BT plus the cold might have been the problem.

Thank you for the advice! I’ve been out in much colder weather and this was a first. Guess I’ll just give it another go and call support if it happens again.
