So when my watch is taken off all my messages go to my phone, when my wife takes her watch off her watch still dings and her phone shows or alerts nothing. I checked both our settings and from what I can see they are the same. Any ideas why hers still alerts while not being worn?

maybe try wiping off the back of the watch? for some reason the sensor there doesn't realize it's been taken off her arm,

if that doesn't work, try unpairing, and re-paring the watch

I would resort to a re-pair first if it continues.

Have the exact same issue. My watch is perfect at knowing when I take it off and locking. At least once a week my girlfriend takes her off and sets in on the nightstand and it still thinks it's being worn until you hook the charger to it. Normally wiping off the back is enough to lock it. I have noticed on some surfaces if you set the watch back down quick enough when taking it off it will think it is still being worn.

I did a re-pair and it does work now! Thanks everyone for the help!
