Hi,

Is there any software or extra device that will allow me to control a computer program (e.g., PowerPoint) or a projector?

This is a desirable feature but fear it may not be implemented.

Thank you!,
Michael

Apparently the ability to control a PowerPoint presentation on the AW was introduced in 2015. Add the Powerpoint app to your Watch and iPhone and try it out the controls. I haven't done it firsthand but the App Store compatibility for PP shows it's available for the AW. There are a few sites out there that have more details.

Once I forgot my presentation remote and I used the remote App on the Watch to pass slides using Keynote and other day I used the App Power Point both times on my macbook.

It was a little bit buggy, but lifesaver.

Namara you are AMAZING!

Thank you also for sharing your experiences Morrissey!

I'll test this out, thank you!!!

The feature you're after also works very well with Keynote too (Apple's version of Powerpoint which can also open/edit pptx files created by powerpoint). I used it during a presentation last year, and people thought it was super cool (we had no remote, so it would have meant walking over to the laptop every minute or so).
