Watch use with company required password?

Good day,

I am looking to purchase an Apple Watch 6 but I am concerned about ease of use. My company’s outlook is installed on my personal phone and requires a six character password. With the iPhone it is not an issue with fingerprint unlocking but it will pass the policy to the watch. Is the policy going to inhibit using the watch when away from the phone? Does anyone else have experiences with passwords on the phone and ease of use? Thanks!

Our company also requires a complex pin, this does not impact the apple work - I have a basic 4 pin on my apple watch, which is needed for the security of your data. Hope this helps.

i suppose you don’t have to install outlook on you watch.

Outlook is not installed on the watch but I am prompted to enter the password, that met company requirements, when the watch is off my wrist.
