Watch won't connect to iPhone

Got my 42MM Sport BSB on Friday and it's worked beautifully all weekend. Woke up this morning (charged it last night) and the watch won't connect with my iPhone. Shutdown both devices and even restored the Apple Watch, now it won't pair with my iPhone at all. Keeps telling my the pairing has failed :(

Did you try unpairing it from your iPhone, reset it, then pair it again?
 
Yep I tried everything short of reseting my iPhone. I finally got it to re-pair after I switched my language to English U.K.

Very strange...
