I have it attached to charger with 50% battery yet my iPhone says my watch is up to date (2.0.1). Any tips?

I'd try rebooting watch and phone, and if that doesn't work try unpairing and re-pairing. Not sure what else you could try. It loaded fine for me... only took about a half hour start to finish.

I see the Watch update is available on my phone, but I will wait until I get home to put in on the charger.

May have to be charged at over 50%, if it's at 50% even that may be why.

I had an awful time trying to get it to update. Took me far over an hour.

Constant rebooting nothing. It was stuck on preparing. Finally I went to sleep and left it and when I woke up it was done. Strange.

I updated, but it took a few minutes for the phone to recognise that the watch was running on the new firmware.

I've found that a re-boot of both Watch and phone after a watchOS update seems to get everything back into sync again quickly.

When I went to bed, I put my Watch on my charger right next to my phone, as usual. I opened the Watch App, which had a Red 1 next to it, and I clicked to install the update. When I woke up in the morning, it was done and both the Watch App and the Watch showed it was on OS 2.1.

Very boring, but just what I expected.
