Does anyone know when the Blood Pressure feature may be available for Watch6?

Never. It’s not a software feature. It’s hardware. And blood pressure requires a cuff that can squeeze. You’re not getting that from a sport band.

I agree that it won't be there for AW6 but eventually yes, I expect the tech to someday solve the issue

I misinterpreted your "never"

It’s cool. I just answered OP’s question. It wasn’t about any future watch. It definitely would’ve been absurd for me to say never about future watches.

They are way more finicky because you have to get them in just the right spot for you. And that place is gonna be slightly different on everyone.

The Omron has an inflatable cuff inside their watch band, maybe Apple and Omron can work out a licensing agreement to make AW band cuff. I use an iHealth cuff device with an iPhone App. I think blood sugar is Apples next goal for diabetics.

I seriously doubt it will ever come to the watch, the body of the watch I mean specifically, because it would make it a medical device and would have to undergo regulatory scrutiny.
I believe there might be bands that offer that capability already, or they might in the future

The Apple Watch is already classified as a class 2 medical device and does undergo regulatory scrutiny.

now we're getting into the FDA nitty gritty ... article below helps understanding the difference between "approved" and "cleared", AW is "cleared" and as such does NOT need FDA scrutiny, it's also a "de novo" device.

I could see an “AppleCuff” that would be battery operated and Bluetooth connected to your device. I’d probably get one just to have on hand.

I am hoping for blood glucose monitoring on the AW7. I’d definitely get one for that.

I have the iHealth cuff and app which does a pretty good job, close to my cardiologists readings. I don't see Apple making another stand alone device.

If a company can figure out how to do this via a non-invasive watch device they will have the killer (or anti-killer, I suppose) watch app that will vastly accelerate smart watch adoption. 34 million diabetics in the US, 422 million worldwide. 2020 figures have 21% U.S. smartwatch/fitness tracker ownership.
