I'm having an issue with iOS 9 on my iPad Air 2 and this app. Previously I was able to watch the latest news on the bottom bar of the app, but now it's just a grey bar. The first picture shows it correctly, but not the second one. The only way I can get it to show up in any way it stream to apple tv, and then go back to iPad viewing. However, it comes in zoomed and occasionally crashes the app.
I received this response from ESPN support but it took them several replies to come to this conclusion: "I apologize for any inconvenience. We disabled the Live Toolbar because of some iOS 9 incompatibilities. It should be disabled on all versions of iOS until we can address the iOS 9 issues in a future release. Unfortunately we do not know when this will be done. It should not appear now and anything you can do to make it show back up is a glitch that was not removed from the app while it is worked on."
I'm just wondering if anyone else has encountered this on any version of iOS 9. Thanks.
