Hi, Most of the videos & movies I watch is 1080p. I want to know how is the quality of 1080p videos/movies play on Netflix, Amazon, YouTube or any 1080p videos in 4.5k imac. Do it look like same you play on 1080p Monitor or it look blurry and jag?

Because the monitor will stretching those pixels to fit the display, which causes distortion, which causes bad picture quality. Do is true in iMac Display?

Can you give me the screenshot comparison between play in 1080p Monitor VS 4.5k iMac monitor?

It’ll…. Look like 1080p. “Blurry,” sure, compared to a 4K video. It won’t look worse than 1080p on a 1080p display of similar size, though. A 27” 1080p display is blurry (to some extent) on ALL content; a 27” 5K is blurry only with 1080p video & similar content.

That said, I don’t particularly MIND watching a 1080 video on my 5K display. I don’t watch full movies there, I have a TV or an iPad Pro for that. But I do watch some technical videos and so forth.

Your experience, will be YOUR experience so you really need to just try it & see if it’s bothersome. But if it is, the solution will be to improve your videos - not your Mac.

Can you send me screenshot full screen 1080p video play in iMac?

1080p will look great provided you don't watch any 4K material. No, it doesn't look jaggy.
Once you watch some 4K and go back to 1080p, the 1080p will look soft in comparison. You won't be able to unsee the 4K
