I ripped some dvd of mine with both languages, Italian and English, for I prefer to watch them in English but when there is my wife I have to use Italian.

When watching in Front Row, is there a way to switch language during reproduction?

If I open one of them, it starts playing in English, which is not my system language and which is most annoying for my wige cannot start playing them by herself.

I would like them to play with Italian language as default, the same language I choose in Snow Leopard. Them to be able to switch to English or else play them with VLC when I want to watch them with original soundtrack.

If I open them with VLC, they start in Italian, so I really do not know why Front Row has to give me English...

Thank you.

I'm going to assume that with dvd rip, it will work the same way when you put a DVD in. Front row isnt going to know the difference so whatever was default as the DVD will be default as the DVD Rip in Front Row.

You can choose the language in the DVD Menu preferences and from there on out since the DVD Rip will reside locally it should remember it each time for that specific Rip; I presume.

Nothing that I know of that can change on the fly in Front Row.
