I have an iPad, and i'm looking into buying a some movies. but for an HD version is basically 20$! is it worth it? or do the non-HD versions of the movie look fine on the iPad?

I think the non HD movies look fine on an iPad size screen.

You could rent a HD and SD version of a movie from iTunes and watch each to compare for yourself.

like the poster above me stated, rent both and see which one you can live with...not which one is better, because we all know the answer to that question. good luck

If your going to be watching it on the iPad, then go for SD.

There is (almost) no difference what so ever. I tested this when I first got the device.

The HD stuff takes up way more space and doesn't look much better.

However, if you've going to be watching these movies on your HDTV, always go HD.
