is this possible without installing quicktime 7? i opened the get-a-mac page to test, but i get a question mark. Has anyone tried watching a web quicktime video without quicktime 7?

after 30 minutes, no one's even LOOKED at this thread? very interesting. usually macrumors has every new topic at least READ within a minute or 2.

you did an upgrade from leopard, so quicktime 7 is still installed.

i did a clean install, and i opted out of the qt 7 install. i dont want to waste mb's of space on 7 if i have X. Is their any way to load web videos (h.264 videos) in snow leopard without quicktime 7?

Fresh install of Snow Leopard, intentionally left out QT7 and online quicktime videos work fine for me (just checked the Mac ads page on apple.com, worked fine).
