Watching the September event on an Apple TV 3

I've only just recently purchased an Apple TV3 and wondered if you can watch Apple announcements on them or if they have to be streamed from an appropriate Mac or iOS device?

Yes you can, the "channel" will be automatically added around the 7th IIRC (or there may even be a way of getting it on before)

You'll notice a WWDC channel pop up front and center. I know it annoyed a lot of people but I really like it.

Yes, and you can also watch some of the previous keynotes if you download the Apple Events app.

I just take it for granted now that Apple will stream it always now as they have for past few years to Apple TV's..... There is little reason to doubt this..
