Watching TV on a Mac Pro

What would be the easiest way of watching TV on a Mac Pro? I'm researching this for a friend of mine who's buying a Mac Pro and haven't been having much luck finding these.

It doesn't necessarily need to tune TV on the Mac, just as long as it allows cable tv to be displayed on the LCD monitor itself.

There are several EyeTV options from Elgato that should work. Depends on what kinds of signals you want to be able to handle.
