Hi,
I did a small search, but I really couldn't think of what to look for, so if someone could redirect me if there has been a similar question thank you. If not, help would be appreciated.
I have a second harddrive with various movies/videos and some pictures that I would like for my family members on my network to be able to view without coming into my room and messing around on my computer when I'm not home, or bothering me everytime they want to see something. The only thing I've gotten to work so far (and it's not really ideal) is to create another admin account and tell my family the password. So then they mount my second harddrive (trusting that they dont play with anything on my boot drive lol) onto their desktops through that account. It's not exactly secure from my side (not that I don't trust my family), and I don't really like the idea of having another admin account with full privileges open for more people to access. Is there another way to do this? I thought about using an app I used to have called Quicktime Broadcaster or something, but I think to use that I have to start or open everything that someone on the other end wants to see.
Any ideas/solutions?
