I have never had an ipad so this will be my first. Buying it mainly for wife to read e-books, (by the way how much are those e-books). Also, I want to be able to watch personal videos and movies that I have on my macbook to stream to the ipad2. My biggest question is I know it can be done using different apps like air video to play different formats. But can I access these movies without having to install them on the ipad and then be able to watch them when I am on the go remotely ( if so I am very interested to know how)

I am planning to get the 32gb and I don't think it will hold many videos specially HD.

Since there is no SD card slot or any way to to connect and external drive, how do you guys access your movie/tv collection when outside of the house.

This is my biggest concern and if this can be done.
