watchOS 10 app view issue

I just upgraded to version 20 today.

One thing I noticed:

I use the app list view. With version 9 if I went to an app, used it went back to the watch face, then went back to the app list that app would show.

With 10 it reverts back to the top.

Anyone else see this behavior?

I was slow to upgrade because I don’t like change and 10 has a lot of changes.

Yes. I also do not like. I don't like grid view but am reluctantly using right now because of this.
