watchOS 4 dimming screen function gone?

I don’t know if this is general or happening only to me, but since updated to watchOS 4 I cannot dim the screen by rotating the Digital Crown anymore, it flashes on full brightness after slightly rotating the DC. It was such a nice feature

No help to you I know but still working as before for me on WatchOS 4. Rotate the crown when the screen is off and it will slowly brighten or dim depending on which way I rotate.

Same for me on 4, rotate to slowly increase brightness when screen is off.

After a reset it’s working nicely again
