Anyone notice the much improved setup on WatchOS 4/iOS 11? You get the pop-up on the iPhone like AirPods. Then I was shocked, it only took like 15 minutes to get running from my backup. I've gotten so used to the 2 hour sit and wait times from previous revisions.
Also they give you a quick little tutorial on the setup screen on the watch, which is pretty cool for new users.
So far S3 has been really nice for me. I got an LTE version, but I'm not really sold yet. Seems to take a while to decide it isn't on wifi/connected to a phone before activating the cell radio, so hopefully that will be fixed in an update. I'll wait out the 3 month trial, but so far I'm not convinced that I'll actually use LTE much. Speed/responsiveness seems awesome, even coming from a series 2 (Especially on the Siri watch face.)
