WatchOS 5.1.1 music shortcut in place of notification red dot?

Anyone noticed that after upgrading to WatchOS 5.1.1, there is now a music shortcut/complication icon on the top center of the screen where the notification red dot is. Not a big deal but bothers me because I’m used to checking if I have outstanding notifications there but the color of the music shortcut is also very close to the red dot. Is there anyway to turn this off to remain what it used to be?

This is a S2 if it matters.

I only get that if Now Playing is running in the background.
