watchOS 6 recent emoji not working...

So when responding to texts, my recent emoji keep switching to those annoying new Memoji sticker things in iOS 13/watchOS 6.

Tried rebooting both watch and iPhone, and same issue, still. I never see my most recent regular emojis ever showing anymore. Just 3 random emojis and then a bunch of Memoji stickers.
