A number of the new watchos 7 watch faces have disappeared in the 7.2 beta. Anyone else? Any suggestions?

Another bug, I think. You can not scroll through your music using the dial.

Are you seeing this for series 5 or below? I definitely was using new faces on series 5 with OS7. I'm pretty sure they intentionally removed it to incentivize people to upgrade. I saw the faces on my iphone as well until i updated it to ios 14.2 beta. Now they are removed.

Don’t think it’s rocket science. They held the meeting faces back for the official release on launch day. They probably weren’t sure if 7.2 beta was going to be in the wild before the new watch so pulled the faces from the beta. I wouldn’t stress about it. They’ll be added back in on the next beta or when the beta is finally released. Given that people on this thread are a bit disgruntled that some features don’t work on beta releases it’s probably best just avoiding them!!

Glad to see i am not the only one. Watch faces disappeared. Also another bug you cannot change watch face through the iphone app. Also the disappeared watch faces actually show up on iPhone but you cannot select them.

What a mess... i want my typograph watch face back!

If people on a series 7.1 beta on a series 6 watch have the newer faces, then it's a good indication that they are getting removed from older devices

Uninstall the beta then?!

It can’t be done. For some reason only the cellphones can be downgraded back to previous state. The only way you can get rid of the beta, believe it or not, is to send the watch to Apple where upon they remove the beta.
Sounds crazy, but I did speak with Apple tech just to confirm that. So, it seems one just has to wait for the next beta.
I have been using beta’s for the past couple of years and I have never seen such a lousy glitch like this.
Maybe others have? So, my 11 Pro can’t sync but it is connected with Bluetooth.
Best of luck to any and all who have the same issue, I miss the new watch face set up as well. Big lesson for me.

Cheers.

lol I effed up, the blood oxygen doesn’t work anymore. I’m going to setup as mew and see if that works.

What watch do you have? Is it the 6?
I was just wondering if it’s on the Series 5?
Right now I’m stuck in the beta 7.1, so I’ve set it aside until next beta.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Is the WatchOS beta distinct from the iOS beta? I'm on 7.0 and the newer watch faces have disappeared (but my phone is on beta 14.2, which appears to have triggered the change).

They are different. iOS 14.2 beta does not include some new faces nor Blood Oxygen. I was in the same situation as you, as I did not put the beta on my AW 5, since I figured the AW 6 would arrive on the non-beta. But the new faces and oxygen did not appear on either AW5 nor AW6 if my phone was already on 14.2 beta. So, I had the choice of downgrading the phone to iOS 14, using the IPSW and my Mac. Or, which I did, just go ahead and put the beta on the watch and be patient for the next beta.

This happened to me too (7.0.1 w/ 14.2, Count Up is atill there oddly).
It is weird that iOS can control which faces appear/disappear... aren‘t they on the watch still? What gives?

Good question. But they are fixed with iOS 14.2 beta 2 and watchOS 7.1 beta 2. So, nothing seen here.

I’m still unable to use new watch faces with iOS 14.2 beta 2. They show on phone but won’t show on watch
