After installing WatchOS 8.5.1 I’ve noticed on two separate are instances that starting Maps will freeze the Apple Watch.

Yesterday, I asked Siri (from the watch) for directions home and directions came one the display as normal. While almost home, I noticed the display was stuck on a turn from the beginning of the route. I still felt haptic feedback throughout the route. I did a soft restart/reboot and everything was fine.

Today, I asked Siri for directions (from my iPhone) and upon arriving at my destination noticed that my watch was frozen on the screen right before directions would show on my watch.

Anyone else have this issue after yesterday’s update?

I’ve had this issue with prior software versions and also seen it on CarPlay. If you haven’t already, try hard rebooting both devices (phone and watch).
