Watchos 8 and ‘Now Playing’

Hi everyone. I am running into a wall with my Google-Fu skills. I am trying to turn off the now playing screen on my watch when my phone is connect to CarPlay and using Apple Music. When I’m in the car and look at my watch, I want it to show my watch face and not music controls. Any help would be appreciated.

This is titled “Auto-launch Audio Apps” in officially Apple speak.
I think you have two options:
1. you can turn this off permanently in the Watch app on your phone.
But 2. is more interesting. It does appear there is a setting for this in Shortcuts so you could make a personal automation that toggles this when you connect to CarPlay.

Very annoying as this setting has apparently either been removed or is now in an place I can't find it!

It is now under Settings>Display & Brightness.
