watchOS 8 Beta - unlock mac doesn't work

Hello All
I have watch OS 8 in my Apple watch series 5, ios15 in my iphone 11 and macOS Monterey version 12.0 beta in my Macbook.
I am unable to unlock the Mac using my watch.
I have tried the troubleshooting mentioned by LongZheng too.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
